    Iranian & Kurdish Activists Join With Independents and 3rd Party
    Representatives in Iraq War Conference: “What Happens Next?” Hartford, Connecticut — On Saturday, January 20, 2007, Hooshang Amirahmadi, President of the American-Iranian Council, Pary Karadaghi, Executive Director of Kurdish Human Rights Watch and Iranian author Nahid Rachlin will be the featured speakers at the Iraq War Conference, “What Happens Next?â€? in New York City. They will be joined by:

    Anthony Williams - 2008 Libertarian Party Vice-Presidential candidate;
    Attorney Harry Kresky - Committee for a United Independent Party; and
    Joshua Rosenstock - Managing Editor of the independent website, WashingtonHotlist.com.

    The conference hosted by Independents Across America PAC and the U.S Iran Peace Project, will begin at 12:00 PM, at the Pomegranate Gallery, located at 133 Greene Street in New York City.Webster Brooks, Executive Director of Independents Across America PAC said “This conference comes at a critical juncture when President Bush and the two parties, have failed to articulated a coherent policy, or reach consensus about how to proceed in Iraq. Yet, they are moving forward with plans to approve a substantial troop surge. Independents and third parties have consistently opposed the Iraq War as bad foreign policy from its inception. At this conference we will seek the advice and counsel of the region’s experts to establish a clear policy direction to arrest America from this crisis.

    Independents Across America PAC, is a non-partisan Political Action Committee that supports independent candidates seeking public office. The U.S. Iran Peace Project is an Internet-based initiative advocating open dialogue and the normalization of relations between the U.S. and Iran.
