In the commercial, Ray is wearing a scarf that Malkin said resembled a kiffiyeh, Middle [...]]]> Dunkin’ Donuts pulled a television spot featuring Rachael Ray this weekend after Michelle Malkin, hatemonger extraordinaire, associated it with terrorists (we all know how much suicide bombers love a nice cup of coffee and a donut before they blow themselves up).

In the commercial, Ray is wearing a scarf that Malkin said resembled a kiffiyeh, Middle Eastern garb that is “popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos.”

I suspect this was not a random targeting by Ms. Malkin, noting Ms. Ray’s connections to Oprah Winfrey, who has been one of Senator Obama’s biggest supporters. With so many real issues facing our country, this is what Michelle Malkin cares about – Rachel Ray’s clothes in a Dunkin’ Donuts commercial. More evidence that conservatives have gone bankrupt in the ideas department.
