Catholic League president Bill Donahue actually said something that makes sense.
Regarding Mike Huckabee:
“What he’s trying to say to the evangelicals in western Iowa (is): I’m the real thing. You know what, sell yourself on your issues, not on what your religion is.”
Do you think Donahue would feel the same way if Huckabee was Catholic?
“I don’t believe that the people of this country are going to choose a person based on their faith and what church they go to.”

First, his campaign releases an ad calling him a “Christian leader” (wink wink) which is followed by this very reasonable assessment of Mitt Romney’s speech:
