The country is unhappy with the current Republican leadership in Congress and poll after poll shows the public is on the same side of the issues as the Democrats. So, what’s the problem, you ask? The Democrats themselves are the problem.
Instead of conjuring up ways to solve the nation’s problems, they are too focused on appealing to the fringe left, the people that are already on their side in the first place. In yet another example of who really runs the DNC, yet another attempt to remove Rumseld from office failed miserably.
If this is the strategy the Democrats are pursuing this fall, watch for the incompetent Republicans (incompetent at governing, that is – they are great at beating the idiotic Democrats in national elections) hold on to both houses for another long two years.
And, we continue to wonder why no one bothers to vote. Think of our democracy as a restaurant that only features two awful dishes on the menu. Would you want to eat there?
