    It’s time for a national primary day, let’s say the first Tuesday in May, and a winner takes all policy for both parties. Time to take the political reins out of the hands of the big wigs in the back rooms,and put them in to the hands of the voting public.

    Let the candidates speak to that issue. Certainly there’s been the opportunity as a result of this Michigan-Florida buiness.

    Before everything else, I would see this come to pass.

    I agree with a National Primary Day. I’m tired of the six people in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire and a dozen corn farmers in Iowa having such influence over choosing the candidates.

    But that Primary Day — as well as Election Day itself — should be on a SUNDAY so that more people can vote.
