Back in the hippie days I lived for a while in one communal household.
When I moved in, seven or eight people lived there, but over time, attrition reduced the occupants of the house to one lonely soul, me.
Naturally, I moved into the master bedroom where the king-size water bed was.
I had never met the landlord, so I didn’t worry about the rent.
One night, I was in a dead slumber, when suddenly the light was turned on, and I opened my eyes to see two guys standing at the door, one of them pointing a .45 at my head.
I stuck my hands in the air, and the guy said, “What the hell are you doing in my house?”
I was 17 years old, and I said, “I’m just a guest here, everyone left.”
He said, “Put your clothes on, and come with us. We’re going for a ride.”
Of course, I did what he said. I just knew they were going to kill me and dump my body somewhere.
So we went for a ride, and they pulled into a liquor store. In those days, you could pull up to the drive-in window, and the cashier would hand you cups with ice and mixers, and do everything but pour the liquor in.
The terrorists asked me what I wanted to drink.
I said, “Scotch on the rocks, single-malt, please.”
I knew I was going to die, but at least I’d go out with style.
Well Vince….as the saying goes….

The ‘terrorists’ started feeling guilty as we drove around.
The landlord told me I couldn’t stay at his house any more, but that we’d pick up my meager possessions and they’d take me wherever I wanted to go in town.
I directed them to another hippie crash house where one of my Deadhead buddies lived. I was welcomed, and I slept on the couch for a few weeks.
The other ‘terrorist’ gave me his address, and said come over and meet his daughter. So I went to their newly acquired beach house with a big swimming pool.
Turned out his wife had got control of her quite alive father’s money, and a raging party was going on 24 hours a day. The old man just kind of dithered in the background while the Bacchanalia went on and on.
It was like a hippie version of the Playboy Mansion.
And that’s how I got to be who I am today.;-)
While we’re on the subject, how come no women ever comment here?
Certainly not an issue of sexual orientation, the lack of female input.

Those cowards (The British Soldiers) are just one more example of the policy of capitulation and appeasement demonstrated by nations of western europe to Islamic Fascism. America, isn’t far behind. There was a day when a British Soldier would “…have done anything…” to resist their captors and would rather have died than be used by the enemy against his country.
The behavior of the British soldiers and prisioners of war , they were not “…[civilian] hostages..” was a disgrace to their uniform and country. How long did it take for them to “crack” after being deprived of their afternoon tea? Maybe 1/2 a day?

Col. David Hunt has just published his new book, “On The Hunt.” He recently stated on a talk radio program that he belives Iran is a nuclear power in the region and is the unintended winner of the Iraq war. During his forensic analysis of the Iraq war mistakes, he praised former President Lincoln for firing all the generals in the civil war until he found one that could get the job done; General Grant. He, President Lincoln, was criticized for “hiring a drunk.” His response, according to Hunt was, “What ever he’s drinking serve it to the other officers.”
Many in this country don’t take this war against Islamic Facsism seriously; they belive its not affecting them. They’re still shopping and riding their couch and guzzling their beer without interruption. Well, maybe a commercial or two. There is no sense of obligation or self sacrafice for a greater good. Point is, Americans and congress don’t appear to be willing to defend themselves. They want to believe all we have to do is make nice with the “tolerant” jihadist and all will be Nirvana. WRONG! What price are you willing to pay? What is freedom worth to you?
The jihadist have made a full scale invasion of western europe and they have now infiltrated every aspect and level of American Society. Now, its just a matter of time.
Time is a luxury America cannot afford to waste. That time, is over. And, as time goes on, America, to borrow the phrase, Alone, must look itself in the mirror and decide. We must decide, who we are, who we want to be, what do we stand for and what is worth dieing for. Is it, “…one nation, under God, indivisiable, with liberty and justice for all?”
An argument well constructed. Society unfortunately does not prepare, it simply responds, in knee jerk fashion, to extremes of pressures.

Regarding the ‘glorious’ British Empire, and Merry Olde England– William the Conqueror was a Norman, or Northman– in other words, a Viking Prince who held lands in Normandy.
England’s royal family are an inbred lot who are more German than English. The House of Windsor was the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, and its name wasn’t changed till 1917.

The Romans had a great empire when my ancestors and the Winsdor’s too were uncivilized barbarians.
As far as I’m concerned, all of England, Scotland, and Wales belongs to my Celtic ancestors. They were the original inhabitants of ‘Great Britain’ and Ireland.
The Angles, Saxons, Jutes and Danes who are the ancestors of the English were invaders who came to the island from the continent, just as Europeans came to North and South America and stole the ancient tribal lands of the original inhabitants.
Fascinating process of succession, isn’t it?

“American woman, stay away from me…” That’s probably because there’s becomming less and less real men in this country. They’ve all been successfully feminized by 40 years of a radical feminist movement. Little boys are fed Ritalan at the first sign of inteligence and independent free thought. Then, they’re gradually socialized as adrogenous and passive creatures; incapable of a warrior mentality into a critical time when it is most needed.
I have no problem with woman’s liberation. I do have a problem with their feminist domination and insistence that women should do everything that men do. They seem to have swung into an overemphasis of women’s issues vs family and men.
Seems to me, feminist think society would be better off without the boy scouts, lower to negative birth rates, and more middle aged lesbian mothers. “Girls just wanna have fun…”
That women should have the opportunity to attempt to do everything that men do is acceptable providing that the standards for performance are not changed.
In addition, those little niceties like opening the door, seating in a restaurant, bringing the car around front, holding the umbrella over her head when it rains, while you, yourself get soaked, can be allowed to go to hell in a handbasket in the name of the N.O.W., burnt bras, and equal opportunity.
For me, I now refuse to walk the dog early in the morning and late at night.

I wouldn’t confuse the two if I were you. Look what happened at Virgina Tech yesterday. That, is lethal terrorisim perpetrated by a gun weilding non U.S. citizen, here on a student visa. Note, he was not here on a business visa. Neither were the 911 jihadists; as you may know, many were here on expired student visas.
Do you think the jihadist didn’t do that (Virginia Tech Homicidal Suicide? Are you convinced the jihadist aren’t planning such attacks or worse for our free and open border society? Our schools are “SUPPOSED” to be free and open institutions of higher learning and thought. Although you wouldn’t know it in light of recent student attacks on contorversial speakers standing behind their lecterns on their college campuses. The students and their liberal socialist professors are quick to stand and voice their unflinching support for free speech and right of protest, as long as it is exclusively their speech and ideology.
What will you and those students say when one of our grade schools reap such violence and death? The reports I saw yesterday showed me people grappling more with reality and less with what did Imus repeat or Anna Nichole write in her diary. I’m referring to the potential for another massacre, similar to the jihadist hostage standoff and the murder hundreds of children in Russia a few years ago?
I think once students in this country get a taste of what they don’t fear they will abandon their high and mighty liberal “holier than thow” rhetoric and protests, and pick up a F _ _ _ _ _ _ Gun!
I fear liberals who side with our enemies and deliberately denegrate this country in order to advance their own political agenda. I fear the result of that behavior, just as much as I fear the economic violence of greedy global robber barrons. The Jihadists are cunning and know how to leverage our weaknesses to their advantage i.e. Oil and the media.
Perhpas your ambivelance about corporate vs. Islamic Fascism comes from the nexus of jihadist drug smuggling and corporate crime and money laundering. Their purpose, being the financing, and constrution of more Muslim mosques that teach jihad in America, terrorist sponsored “civil rights” advocates for radical Muslim legal attacks on Americans, government, and businesses(C.A.I.R) i.e. “the flying Imams,” infiltraion of American school book companies publishing pro Muslim religious teaching over any other religion, and calndestine cash funding of jahadist militias and homicide bomber squads in America and the middle east? And, the list goes on.

Let me educate you. My paternal grandfather was half Cherokee. His mother was a medicine woman who lived in her own cabin on his farm. She had visions. So do I. I am a shaman. In Native American cultures, what we call gays were often considered natural-born shamans.
Her father was a Cherokee farmer in North Carolina whose was driven from his own house and lands by Andrew Jackson’s troops. White settlers moved into his very house and stole his land.
He was marched on the Trail of Tears to Oklahoma, but escaped in Arkansas.

I can’t help but see your posts when I look at the page, so naturally, some of the sentences register. I meant I just don’t bother to read your extraordinarily long comments (I can’t help but see the shorter ones).
I think reading your Urantia Book has got you hallucinating.
I’ve read parts of it, one of those mail-order ministers introduced me to it in 1975.
I first used hallucinogens after reading Aldous Huxley’s short books The Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell.
If I believed in a Satan, Lord of Hades, I’d say he wrote the Urantia Book.
I think you need a good-old fashioned sweat lodge.
