McCain - Then And Now

May 20, 2008 – 4:00 pm

2006:

They’re (Hamas) the government; sooner or later we are going to have to deal with them, one way or another, and I understand why this administration and previous administrations had such antipathy towards Hamas because of their dedication to violence and the things that they not only espouse but practice, so . . . but it’s a new reality in the Middle East.”

Today:

“…it’s dangerous to American national security if you sit down and give respect and prestige to leaders of countries that are bent on your destruction or the destruction of other countries. I won’t do it, my friends.”

  2. If you’re looking for the definition of “appeasement,” check the record of John McCain.

There is no one on the national political scene who is more of a hypocrite. And no one who poses more of a threat to America.

I’m still waiting for the press to expose him for who he really is — the Panderer in Chief who will say and do anything to win votes.

Obama’s strong response to McCain’s recent bluster on this issue gives me hope that when the campaign begins in earnest, he’ll continue to hit back hard and expose the real McCain.
