Ned Lamont Gets It
By Josh Rosenstock | May 25, 2006
It’s no secret that liberal voters are unhappy with the track record of Senator Joe Lieberman. To that end, they are urging Connecticut voters to back the momentum gaining candidacy of Ned Lamont, someone who claims to know where the Democratic Party’s bread is buttered. Apparently, the message from the left is compromise = defeat. How sad that both sides now view each other as bitter enemies instead of colleagues and compatriots.
Part of Lamont’s attractiveness stems from his team’s familiarity with the internet and new media. This ad on YouTube is a hit with the liberal blogosphere.

Our position is that Senator Lieberman has been entirely too deferential to President Bush and the neoconservative approach to foreign policy. This has obviously alienated him from his liberal base but also those who value skepticism and alternatives when it comes to initiating military operations overseas on questionable pretenses.
