“Taking our troops out is the only way I believe that we can forge a diplomatic solution and political compromise. The reason I believe we need to take all our troops out is because our kids have become targets. They’re caught in the crossfire between al-Qaida and the insurgents.”
- New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson

It would be interested to survey the homes of individuals who are opposed to our military presence in Iraq to see what percentage of them have enriched the software and gaming industry through the purchase of product with military or combat themes not only of a video nature, but paintball and laser tag as well. Not to mention all the rest of the martial arts mayhem and bloodspilling games and sports which go to occupy our leisure time activities.
It’s time this culture got it’s act together. If war is truly hell, then the software brain trust ought to cease making it a leisure time activity and turn its attention to something else more creative.
If its war games you want, join the military. You’ll get plenty of the real thing, not sitting on your cushion in comfy, cozy safety.
