And I will close with this:

A supporter once called out, "Governor Stevenson, all thinking people are for you!"

And Adlai Stevenson replied, "That's not enough. I need a majority."

None the less, this does not mean that they be excluded from the process. I have written addtional commentary elsewhere which will serve to close.

My point exactly.

The media cover Obama more closely because for obvious reasons, he's news. And they report on every sneeze of his, while overlooking McCain's gaffes. It's dangerous to criticize a war hero.

As for the uninformed, they don't read newspapers. They get their "news" from their equally-uninformed friends and neighbors and from Limbaugh, Hannity & O'Reilly. That's why, after nearly two years of campaigning, many of these low-information voters STILL don't know that Obama isn't a Muslim...or that he does NOT propose raising taxes on the middle class.

And that's why these morons should NOT be allowed inside a voting booth!

Appears to me that your so-called gutless media have been giving Obama the bulk of the coverage. Will the fourth estate swing the vote?? Perhaps too many of your ss-called uninformed are getting their news via the daily 'throwaways'.

The gutless media haven't laid a glove on McCain in the past year, and I think they'll continue to give him a pass right up to the election. After all, he is an American Hero.

It's outrageous that McCain can bluster his way through this campaign, making dumb statements and pushing ridiculous policy positions AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!!

Obama will have to work harder to expose this clown for the empty suit that he is.

I am still waiting for the mainstream media to give the same scrutiny to McCain's words and acts as they do to Senator Obama's.

For years, the classic definition of “chutzpah” has been the image of a young man who, after murdering his mother and father, astonishingly throws himself on the mercy of the court because he’s an orphan!

We can now replace that image with a picture of John McCain, who is criticizing Barack Obama for poor judgment in opposing the “surge” in Iraq...for being willing to “lose a war in order to win an election."

This is the same McCain whose “superior judgment” made him a passionate cheerleader for the disastrous and misguided invasion of Iraq...whose “superior judgment” caused him to consistently vote AGAINST funding for our veterans.

And who now questions Barack Obama's patriotism.

Now THAT’S chutzpah! Astonishing.
