And you thought accepting free boxing tickets as the Senate Minority Leader was a bad idea? How about giving detailed explanations about his decision to do so (while misstating Senate ethics rules) and completely reversing course a few hours later? I hate to repeat myself but the Democrats seem to have a special knack for shooting themselves in the foot.
Another sad trend I have recently noticed is that liberals are becoming more and more like conservatives every day. Remember when it was a right wing specialty to blame the media, ignore the message? This trick is not exclusively employed by our conservative friends anymore.
It’s bad enough we only have two bad choices to decide from while picking our elected leaders. Now, even two is starting to sound like a generous number.
