Palin is a racist idiot. First of all, terrorists come cloaked in all kinds of religion . Timothy McVey was a CHRISTIAN. 62 Muslims died on 911, they had families and places of worship that loved them too. The hate mongering C should also remember that Jesus, her Lord and Savior came from the same place as all those "terrorists" who have the nerve to build a place to observe their religion in a country built on the backs of foreigners.

For someone who dismisses Kerry as irrelevant, Billy certainly exerts a lot of energy talking about him. Maybe he could put all that 'natural gas' to good use by cooking up some ethanol of his own.

He really should check his facts before he goes spouting off about things he doesn't know much about.

Cellulosic ethanol is a biofuel made from wood, grasses, or the non-edible parts of plants. It's not the same as starch ethanol made inefficiently from corn, which is more energy-intensive to produce because natural gas is used in the process.

According to U.S. Department of Energy studies conducted by the Argonne National Laboratory, cellulosic ethanol has the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 86% over gasoline reformulated with corn ethanol.

Billy mocks Obama's support of cellulosic ethanol production, apparently oblivious that Bush has promoted the same in his State of the Union addresses.

And he just can't help showing that he still belongs to the Homer Simpson school of political discourse.

He urgently advises us that we need "extreme collaboration and inter-party cohesiveness", but seems to suffer a bout of short-term amnesia when in the very next sentence he sternly warns us, "the fact that the Democrats continue to nominate wing-nuts is extremely disconcerting."

Way to get the inter-party collaboration going, Billy. That'll really bring all us left-wingers around.

Yessir, you're a real peace-making diplomat.

Billy

The surge hasn't "worked". It still is in place somewhat and it's been successful in some areas. But political progress has stalled.

Success is not "so close". We still have a unstable somewhat corrupt government that primarily favors one group. Next door neighbor Iran is now stronger positioned than ever.

Oil prices continue to rise, we still have to pump billions into Iraq each month, and their own oil is not paying for their recovery.

The Taliban (remember them?), the former hosts of Osama bin Laden's terrorist training camps (remember him?) continue to gain strength in Afghanistan and are also creating havoc in Pakistan.

That's what we're dealing with here.
