    Think Obama Has “Varying Positions?”

    By Steve Levine | August 21, 2008

    Let’s do a fact-check on “Straight-Talk” McCain:

    1. He embraced Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson AFTER earlier calling them “agents of intolerance.”

    2. He supported making Bush’s tax cuts for the rich permanent AFTER he had voted against them at their inception.

    3. He voted against an anti-torture bill AFTER he had been a vocal opponent of torture for his entire political career.

    4. He abandoned the campaign finance reform bill that was named after him.

    5. During the primaries, he distanced himself from his own immigration reform legislation, even saying at one point that he would not vote for the same bill if it came up for a vote then.

And yet…NO ONE in the media is calling him out on this behavior.

    Outrageous!
