Rudy Giuliani maintains that Sarah Palin is ready to lead the nation partly because she has managed a city…In an interview Wednesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Giuliani was asked, “If she were the president on 9/11, you would have been confident?”
Giuliani responded: “I’d be confident that she’d be able to handle it. She’s been a governor of a state, she’s been mayor of a city.”
According to Giuliani, tens of thousands of mayors in this country, regardless of the size of the towns they oversee, are qualified to be president (which by extension makes United States Senator Obama one of the most qualified people in the nation).
Let’s not pick on poor Rudy.
EVERY delusional Republican I’ve heard in the past week has repeated the same mantra –”Palin is qualified to be vice president, and in fact, she’s MORE qualified than Obama.”
Most Republicans were unaware of Palin before McCain chose her, and they NEVER EVEN MENTIONED HER as a candidate. Now, remarkably, she’s the freakin’ Messiah!
There’s just no explaining these people.
Or reasoning with them.
With that in mind, and considering your present stand on voter eligibility, if all Republicans could be swept from the rolls we could save a bundle and forego the campaign. It would be a done deal.
Be still my heart!
I love it when a problem is solved with a creative solution.
The greatest benefit? Eliminating these vacuous and endless political campaigns.
The same creative solution has been employed by tyrants throughout the history of the world. I certainly don’t mean to group you with the likes of Hussein, Tito, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and the like, but the philosophy of disenfranchisement is shared.
