Waiting For Newt

The former Speaker says he won’t even think about running for President until September 30 but consider the circumstances: the current Republican frontrunners hail from Massachusetts (Romney) and New York City (Rudy); not exactly epicenters of conservatism. Newt would be an attractive alternative to these two while simultaneously being associated with taking on both Clintons – something the Republican primary voters will love.

Besides, It’s also not such a bad idea for Newt to sit by and watch as the rest of the GOP field burns up campaign cash while he remains above the fray (a strategy former Vice President Gore may also be employing right now as well). We all know Newt is smart and must sense a real opportunity that can be seized.

  • I agree Josh. Mit and Rudy don’t hold a candle to Newt. McCain is a democrat. The rest….

Here’s a man, a serious contender and potential presidential candidate. He, is a true concersative no less, knows our history, has a clear vision of what Americans want and need, has solid political experience, can speak English.
