What? ME Worry?

Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls, Frank Newport of Gallup informs us:

Fifty-eight percent of Republicans report having excellent mental health, compared to 43 percent of independents and 38 percent of Democrats. This relationship between party identification and reports of excellent mental health persists even within categories of income, age, gender, church attendance, and education.

Of course Republicans’ mental health is excellent: They’ve elevated denial of the truth to an art.

They’re also living large at the expense of lobbyists and taxpayers, they’re devoid of any compassion for ordinary Americans and they blindly follow their leader in support of one misguided policy after another.

Clearly, there is something in the DNA of Republicans that causes them to behave this
way.

And living alongside these dangerous and evil people and under this disastrous administration, no wonder Democrats are depressed!

The Republicans I know are the most self-satisfied people on earth.

Their attitude is, “Hey, I got mine. If you didn’t get yours, you must be inferior.”

I believe they’ve mutated into a separate species– let’s hope natural selection takes care of them.

My mother always told me to say nice things about other people, but she never knew any Republicans.

Yes, they’re self-satisfied. And sanctimonious, hypocritical, cold hearted and amoral.

And despite Mom’s teachings, I share Vince’s hope that they go the way of the dinosaur.
