“Hold on a second. So former President Clinton dismissed my victory in South Carolina as being similar to Jesse Jackson and he is suggesting that somehow I had something to do with it? You better ask him what he meant by that. I have no idea what he meant. These were words that came out of his mouth. Not words that came out of mine.”
Senator Obama read my mind.
Remember when former Presidents remained above the fray and were elder statesmen and role models? Between Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, it’s been a rough week for former Democratic Commanders-in-Chief.

Bill Clinton long ago disgraced the office of President.
Now he’s disgracing himself with his childish need to be the center of attention and his willingness to say and do anything to put Hillary in the White House.
I don’t think Bill Clinton disgraced the office of President any more than Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, or George W. Bush, for that matter.
The way he’s behaved in this campaign is more of a disgrace to human decency than anything he did (that I know of) in the White House.
